SPRING AND SUMMER 2011

Wow its been along time since I last posted. Lots of fun things have happened I'll try to get somewhat updated. This April Trudy and Jeff became parents of a health 8lb 1oz baby boy which they named Brekken Thomas such a sweet addition to our family. Trudy is such a great Mom and it has been fun to watch her and Jeff enjoy parenthood.. I was able to spend almost 2 weeks with them after Brekken was born it was really hard to leave them being a Grandma is so great. Also in May I picked Jeri up at the SLC Airport and traveled down to St George so she could spend time with her Sis and new Nephew. Gibson and Ellie also traveled with her and were complete angels. We stayed at the condo and did lots of visiting and swimming, Jeri and kids hadn't seen the sun for months so you can guess where Gib and Ellie want to be. Matt and His Mother travel down that weekend to see Brekken. Thar Sunday Matt was also able to give Brekken a nice blessing with the whole family their. Trudy prepared a nice luncheon it was a specail day for everyone.
Jeri and Jayson planned a trip to Italy so Jeri flow home and the grandkids stayed with us. Jayson's parents live in Logan so we took turns watching them they stayed in Utah for almost 3 weeks.. It was so nice Matt and I did lots of fun things with them from Swimming to going to Boondocks, each day was filled with fun!!! Boondocks is definitely one of their highlights of visiting Grandpa and Grandpas. Jamie and Justin, Jayson's sister and brother in-law was planning on meeting Jeri and Jayson halfway but the last minute Jeri and Jayson decided to make the trip to Utah and visit a few days, before heading home it was a pleasant surprise. It was fun to here about their trip to Italy in person.. In June we travel back to St George to surprise Trudy for her birthday. Matt and I were able to spend some much needed time with Brekken. In July I was able to travel back down to St George and watch Brekken for Trudys last week of full-time work. August 1st she was able to go part-time which is really a blessing to her and Jeff she will not have to have a babysitter and that's just what she wanted. Jeff will be able to watch Brekken while Trudy works and then Trudy will be home in time for Jeff to work so they both are pretty excited. Trudy says it will be quite a sacrifice but one that will be well worth it. I'm so thankful I was able to be a stay at home mom. I think my kids were really blessed because of this.. Thanks Matt for that gift..
